The famous sculptor Valérie Goutard (Val / 1967-2016) founded the workshop Figures & Sala in 2011 and created most of her works there, including her masterpiece Du chaos à la sagesse which is one of the largest contemporary bronze sculptures in the world. Her talent is recognized worldwide and her sculptures have been exhibited in all the major capitals of Asia and Europe. She was one of the few Western artists to have the honour of a solo exhibition at the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA). In its 2020 ranking, Artsper Magazine recognizes her work as one of the ten most remarkable in the history of French contemporary sculpture.
